Year 7 Transitions
Enrolment – Year 7
For students in Year 6 in a Government Primary School:
Parents/Guardians are required to complete the Application for Enrolment (Year 7) as distributed by Primary Schools, and return it to the Principal of the Government Primary School by the set date. This form serves to ‘track’ the progress of a student’s application in accordance with the expression of preference listed on the form. Parents must place Whittlesea Secondary College as their first preference to ensure their child is accepted.
Parents will be notified of the results of the application after the set date and will receive enrolment forms from the school. These forms must be returned by the due date to ensure the placement at WSC. Please refer to your Primary School or to the Department of Education and Training website for more information.
For students in Year 6 in a Catholic Primary School and other Independent Primary Schools:
Parents can apply for a place for their child at Whittlesea Secondary College by completing the Expression of Interest for Enrolment Form which can be obtained from the school office. Once the form has been received, the school will contact the parents to arrange an interview with them and their child.
