Year 7 Scholarship Applications for 2026 are now closed.

Whittlesea Secondary College is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to students entering Year 7 in 2026. These scholarships are designed to recognise and support students who demonstrate strong academic performance and exceptional all-round potential. We are seeking applicants who will not only benefit from, but also make a positive contribution to, the life and culture of our College.

Scholarship Details:

• Scholarships will be awarded for Years 7 and 8 and are valued at $1,000 over the two years
• Funds will be provided as a credit to assist with educational expenses, including:
  • Curriculum Materials and Services Charges
  • Year 7 Orientation Camp
  • Instrumental music tuition and instrument hire
  • Essential books and learning resources
• Continuation of the scholarship into Year 8 is subject to a successful review at the end of Year 7, conducted by the Assistant Principal.

Selection Criteria:

Assessment will be based on the following:

• A completed Scholarship Application
• A Reference from the applicant’s primary school
• Participation in an Interview
• Results from an Aptitude Test
• Consideration of specific strengths or attributes addressed in the application and during the interview process
