A Note From The 2018 School Captains - Anastasia Avramopoulos
My journey at Whittlesea Secondary College has challenged me in multiple ways. From the transition from primary school to secondary school, to learning and developing as a student, WSC has provided me with the support and encouragement I have needed. Throughout my time here at the college, I have created a multitude of incredible relationships with both the staff and students, particularly in my senior years. The amazing staff here at Whittlesea provided me with encouragement through difficult times and have shown dedication to not only myself but other students too. Each day I am inspired by their motivation, knowledge and support. Whittlesea has allowed me to reach my full potential as well as strive to be the best role model I can be for the younger students. It has provided me with personalised pathways to best prepare me for my future. I have had the opportunity to be a part of the student leadership team as well as represent the school in community and school events. I was honoured to receive the position of school captain this year, allowing me to further challenge myself as well as the opportunity to be further involved with the school and other student leaders across all year levels. I have had the privilege of seeing the school change and develop for better over the course of the last six years. I have endless respect for the school and staff here at the college and cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me. Whittlesea has influenced me to be the person I am today and the experiences I have had throughout the six years are ones that will not be forgotten.
