Look what’s happening in VET Hospitality

We had a very busy 2nd term in VET Hospitality.
Our 2nd year students invited a teacher to a sit down lunch served in our Café as part of their work placement requirements. This situation simulates a working commercial kitchen environment with ‘real customers’, it also provides positive relationships amongst students & staff.

Our 1st year students held their first commercial cooking experience by inviting a teacher of their choice to “high tea”. Our café replicated a 5 star hotel experience with white linen, flowers and fine bone china tea ware. Students produced a fine array of bite sized delicacies that were thoroughly enjoyed. They should be very proud of the quality products that were produced to facilitate this amazing afternoon.
