Fine Dining

2nd Year VET Hospitality

During the course of the year VET Hospitality students are to complete 12 shifts of work experience in a commercial kitchen environment as part of their workplace training. On 23 August VET students simulated a restaurant environment within our school to host a formal four course dinner for their parents and official guests. This event also showcased the amazing talents of our students and the progress they have made within the two years of studying VET Hospitality Kitchen Operations at Whittlesea Secondary College.

The feedback from our guests was “Amazing”, “Fine Dining Restaurant Quality” and “Outstanding”, and as their Hospitality teacher I was so very proud of the way these students displayed teamwork, organisational skills and a fabulous work ethic.
