The Senior VCAL class went to the Jewish Holocaust Museum. The group had lunch at a European restaurant and visited the Melbourne City Synagogue. Everyone had a good day, it was a great experience and a big eye opener. Once the class arrived at Elsternwick station, they then walked to the Jewish Holocaust Museum.
One of the day's activities involved listening to a survivor speak about his life in a concentration camp. After our eye opening experience at the Holocaust Museum, we went caught the 606 bus to Acland street. Everyone had a delicious lunch. After we all finished eating we caught the tram to Parliament Station. The Synagogue was a 2 minute walk from the station. The class then sat and listened to the Rabbi talk about what goes on within the Synagogue. Everyone enjoyed the day out and learnt a lot about the Jewish Culture.
