Junior School Curriculum

Junior School at Whittlesea Secondary College comprises year 7 and 8.  The philosophy of the program and of staff is to lay strong foundations for a successful secondary schooling, both academically and socially.  In Junior School, students' individual abilities and talents are valued and are given a chance to develop through a broad comprehensive curriculum offering and an exciting extra-curriculum program.

In addition, a LEAP Program operates (Learning Enhancement and Acceleration Program) for students who excel in all curriculum areas.

In the Junior School Handbook you'll find information about how Junior School is organised.  Follow the link in the Downloads section below.

Students entering the college in year 7 are encouraged to apply for the scholarship program, which provides finanicial support to students with abilities in specific academic discipline.
