Hands on Learning Family Pizza Night

Year 8 Tennis

Our Year 8 Tennis team played in torrential conditions in our district competition. Our young and inexperienced team came up against some strong tennis teams in what was a tough day out.

Our team was well beaten across both their games against Epping and Mill Park. Zachary Baker was our best performer on the day playing in the number 2 position, winning both his games against his opponents. Our boys showed fantastic sportsmanship on the day and enjoyed the tennis experience Melbourne style.

Year 8 Volleyball

Whittlesea Secondary College hosted our district Volleyball for our Year 8s. Playing against nine other schools, it was a tough day of competition where a lot of ability was shown.

Our girls completed their three games with one big win against Gilson College. The two games that we lost were close encounters where our girls fought gallantly but were beaten by physically bigger sides.

Holocaust Museum

On the 27th of March the students in Year 10 History went on an excursion to the Holocaust Centre in Elsternwick. Whilst we were there we saw numerous sources of first hand evidence of what happened during World War Two and we heard stories from survivors David and Abraham.

Intermediate Girls Cricket Sports Report

Our Year 9 Girls were the first team to reach the Northern Metropolitan Round in 2017 for Intermediate Cricket. A very excited team ventured out to Donath Reserve to take on a tough pool to be named the best in our Region.

Out of our three games, we were victorious in our first against Montmorency, who were virtually non-existent against our consistent bowling and sharp fielding.
